Sports Medicine Mission Statement
A&M-San Antonio Sports Medicine Department aims to provide the best medical care and services to all student-athletes who participate in intercollegiate athletics. As a growing department, the plan is to use evidence-based practices and modern technology to improve patient outcomes. As recognized health care providers, we are educated to provide best clinical practices to develop injury prevention techniques, emergency care, and implement rehabilitation services. Our extraordinary team of physicians are an integral part of student-athlete success. The Sports Medicine Staff is dedicated to this mission and plans to be proactive and communicative at all times to ensure that the student-athletes receive quality healthcare throughout their career at A&M-SA.
